oil painting woman portrait

Bollywood Diva

Inspiration

Oil on canvas. Golden bread. Mixed technique. Sfumato and paste.

The almost invisible brushwork on the face is achieved after more than eight layers of glaze. A meticulous work where the artist reflects the skill in the blurring of skin tones.

Inspiration is a unique piece in colors. Pastel shades surround the beautiful figure of a woman with toasted skin, with brown hair.

The lotus flowers are the framework of a Buddhist-inspired mural.

Spirituality is the main focus of the work symbolized by the white birds that arrive and settle on the woman's head to bless her with the inspiration coming from subtle worlds.

The thousand-petalled lotus at the back of the work frames the face symbolizing the yearning for spiritual elevation or elevation of consciousness through the crown chakra.

Bollywood Diva

in pink

Oil on canvas.

Golden bread. Mixed technique. Sfumato and paste.

The almost invisible brushwork on the surface of the skin is achieved after more than eight layers of glaze. A meticulous work where the artist reflects the skill with the sfumato of the tones of the skin.

Bollywood diva in pink is the portrait of an Indian woman. A dancer ready to go to the set of shooting. A set of great tonal beauty.

On this occasion the artist opted to mix two very used tones in the Indian clothing, such as pink and orange. The blouse adorned with a flower in carmine de garanza attracts the glance by the fast stroke that contrasts with the diffused brushstroke of the skin.

The hair is worked with a brush and palette creating a lively movement with a lot of character. Even so, the work transmits serenity.
